Develops and implements safety program to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions, using knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health and safety laws. Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment, facilities, to determine if all safety precautions have been included. Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Investigates industrial accidents to minimize recurrence. US Citizenship Required. Secret Clearance needed to start this role.

Requirements

  • Experience with the following
  • Developing and implementing safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions, using knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics and industrial health and safety laws.
  • Examining plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment, facilities, to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
  • Touring facilities to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • US Citizenship Required.
  • Secret Clearance needed to start this role.
