About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Integration/Systems Engineer to join our Customer Delivery group and take a key role in driving the successful deployment and operation of the SAM platform across customer environments. In this role, you will work closely with SAM customers, Account Managers, R&D, and DevOps teams to design, build, and maintain complex customer lab and production-like environments. You will act as a technical focal point for customer integrations, ensuring that all components of the SAM platform Agent, cloud services, APIs, and data pipelines work together reliably and at scale. You will own end to end system integration quality, lead integration testing strategy, and contribute to architectural decisions that improve system robustness, observability, and release readiness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Integration, System Engineer in complex, distributed systems
  • Extensive experience working directly with customers and managing technical communication and expectations
  • Strong background in designing and maintaining customer environments and integration labs
  • Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, asynchronous architectures, and RESTful APIs
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux (system internals, command-line tools, logs, performance analysis)
  • Strong networking expertise, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, routing, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Experience defining and executing system-level and integration test strategies
  • Ability to analyze complex issues across multiple components and drive resolution end to end
  • High level of ownership, strong decision-making skills, and excellent written and verbal communication

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ISP, networking, or security products
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Experience influencing system architecture or platform-level decisions

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical lead for customer integrations, acting as the primary technical interface between customer, delivery teams, and R&D
  • Design, build, and maintain complex customer lab and validation environments that closely reflect production deployments
  • Define and lead end-to-end integration and system testing strategies across the Agent, backend services, APIs, and internal data flows
  • Validate new features, system workflows, and architectural changes in real-world customer setups
  • Identify integration risks early and drive mitigation plans across teams
  • Lead root-cause analysis for complex, cross-component issues and work closely with developers to drive resolutions
  • Analyze system behavior using logs, metrics, and traces across Linux and networking environments
  • Improve integration processes, test coverage, and tooling, including automation where applicable
