The Systems Implementation Project Manager plays a critical role in leading the successful planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise system implementations across acquired branch operations, including NetSuite ERP, field service management modules, and other integrated business applications. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, evaluate options, and facilitate the delivery of high-quality technology solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in managing complex, multi-site implementations while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementation projects for branch acquisitions, including new implementations, system enhancements, integrations, and migrations from legacy ERP/CRM/FSM systems
  • Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing industry best practices, including work breakdown structures WBS), resource allocation strategies, and realistic timelines with clear milestones
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity across different branch locations simultaneously
  • Utilize NetSuite project management tools and templates to standardize delivery and maintain consistency across implementations
  • Establish and monitor project KPIs, budgets, and quality metrics to ensure successful delivery outcomes
  • Define and drive end-user business requirements and systems goals through collaborative discovery sessions
  • Effectively negotiate project scope and timelines with business leaders to achieve high-value outcomes while managing expectations
  • Facilitate internal collaboration across teams including employees, contractors, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives
  • Manage change management processes to ensure smooth adoption and minimize business disruption
  • Assist in gathering, validating, and documenting branch process and system data where applicable to support migration from existing ERP/CRM/FSM platforms
  • Oversee and coordinate data cleansing, mapping, and migration activities performed by technical teams to ensure data integrity in NetSuite
  • Coordinate integration testing between NetSuite and other business systems to ensure seamless functionality
  • Partner with IT and technical teams to develop and execute legacy system sunset strategies with minimal operational impact
  • Proactively identify potential blockers and develop creative solutions to keep projects on track
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for each project phase
  • Quickly assess situations, identify gaps, and present viable solutions to complex challenges
  • Monitor project health using real-time dashboards and analytics to enable data-driven decision making
  • Design and deliver end-user training programs on NetSuite processes, workflows, and best practices
  • Provide training on integrated systems including FSM and ServiceTrade platforms
  • Create comprehensive training materials and documentation to support ongoing system usage
  • Foster user adoption through ongoing support and post-implementation assistance
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; OR 10+ years of demonstrated project management experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing NetSuite/Oracle ERP implementations Required)
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering full lifecycle ERP projects from planning through implementation
  • Experience with enterprise-level, multi-site implementations preferred
  • Deep functional knowledge of NetSuite ERP modules including Financials, Order Management, Inventory, and Service Operations
  • Strong understanding of business processes related to: o Accounting/ERP Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger) o Invoicing and Revenue Recognition o Order Management and Service Operations Field Service Management o Sales CRM and Customer Management
  • Experience with NetSuite project management tools, resource allocation, and project templates
  • Proficiency with data migration methodologies and integration best practices
  • Expert knowledge of project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid approaches
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing detailed project plans, budgets, and resource schedules
  • Strong ability to manage scope, prevent scope creep, and implement effective change control processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to audiences at all organizational levels
  • Advanced interpersonal skills with the confidence to effectively communicate with C-suite executives and technical teams alike
  • Strong facilitation and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience building consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and reporting dashboards
  • Ability to leverage technology tools for project collaboration and communication
  • Project Management Professional PMP) certification
  • NetSuite certifications Suite Foundation, Administrator, or Implementation Specialist) nice to have
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira Service, Monday.com, and Lucid Chart
  • Background in the service industry, particularly Life Safety, field services
  • Experience with Field Service Management FSM) platforms and ServiceTrade
  • Knowledge of integration platforms and APIs
  • Previous experience working in a Project Management Office PMO) environment
