About The Position

Switchboard Hiring is partnering with a growing B2B SaaS company based in Dallas to hire an Implementation Project Manager who loves being close to both the product and the customer. This role sits at the moment that matters most: right after the sale! If you’ve ever been the person who could translate technical complexity into calm, confident next steps for a client, this role will feel very familiar. The role You’ll own the end-to-end implementation experience for new customers. That means partnering closely with clients, guiding them through onboarding, and making sure the software is configured, adopted, and delivering value quickly. This is a client-facing role first and foremost. You’ll spend your time leading external stakeholders, troubleshooting real-world use cases, and acting as the connective tissue between customers, product, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in implementation, solutions consulting, technical project management, or similar client-facing roles
  • Background working with SaaS products
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort juggling multiple implementations at once without dropping the ball
  • A practical, grounded approach to problem-solving

Nice To Haves

  • Have experience implementing software for external clients, not just internal teams
  • Started your career in something technical (engineering, development, systems, integrations) and later moved into a more client-facing role
  • Are comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Enjoy being hands-on and close to the work, not just tracking tasks
  • Can speak the language of finance teams (AP, accounting, workflows, controls) or are excited to learn
  • Like being in the office a few days a week to collaborate and build relationships

Responsibilities

  • Lead new customer implementations from kickoff through go-live
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders throughout onboarding
  • Translate technical requirements into clear implementation plans
  • Coordinate timelines, milestones, and dependencies across teams
  • Identify risks early and proactively keep projects on track
  • Partner with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Support, Sales) to resolve issues
  • Ensure customers feel confident, supported, and set up for long-term success
