In support of our customer, we are seeking a System Engineer with experience in supporting (DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols). Job Duties: Document Support: Developing, reviewing, and managing technical documentation such as SRDs, WBS, Interface Control Documents, Performance Specifications, and SEPs. Collecting and files safety documentation via MS Office 365 and coordinating ESOH compliance. Providing technical guidance and data input for IMS development and maintenance activities. Drafting and tracking documentation for frequency allocations. Configuration Management: Developing and reviewing baseline documentation, ECPs, and CM Plan Annexes. Participating in Configuration Review Boards, Configuration Control Boards, and Configuration Audits. SETR & Meeting Support: Coordinating, executing, and documenting SETRs through closure. Maintaining SETR projection calendars and Technical Review event information. Tracking critical actions and documenting results in Government-specified websites/tools. Drafting, reviewing, and revising TRAPs and uploading TRDP artifacts. Facilitating and collaborating with stakeholders in SE WIPTs to define, develop, and deliver strategy, plans, and schedules. Requirements Traceability: Analyzing user requirements and aligning them with system specifications and RTM. Providing engineering support for RTM updates and post-test data analysis. Drafting, staffing, and submitting CDRLs for Government review. General responsibilities include but are not limited to: Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering or scientific work in a project or performs work that involves conventional engineering or scientific practices. Typical work may include research, development, design, testing, logistics, analysis, production, maintenance, operation, planning, estimating, application, or standardization of engineering facilities, systems, structures, software applications, firmware, processes equipment, devices, or materials. Generates specifications or plans to support the development of acquisition documentation. Supports technical findings, opinions or recommendations. Performs customer liaison, makes presentations and attends customer meetings. Consults with stakeholders on technical applications to support program management decisions.

Requirements

  • BS (Engineering Field) Diploma Required
  • 7-9 Years of Work Experience Related to Acquisition Competency/Task
  • Working knowledge of SE concepts, documentation, methodologies, and best practices, to include Configuration Management; the SETR process; and ESOH regulations.
  • Minimum Clearance Required: Secret with the ability to obtain TS when Need to Know is required.
