Texas Instrument is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our precision analog to digital converter (ADC) team. As a Texas Instruments (TI) Systems Engineer for precision ADC, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment with exposure to a variety of state-of-the art applications, all while helping shape the future of data converters. TI has the industry's largest portfolio of ADCs covering 8 to 32 bits in resolution, best in class performance, smallest footprint, and high system-on-chip integration. TI ADC solutions enable a wide range of exciting and fast-changing applications including factory automation, process controls, grid infrastructure, automotive, medical and more. We are looking to hire an experienced systems engineer/architect to drive new investment areas for the precision ADC (PADC) team. Those new investment areas require a higher degree of digital integration into our ADCs to perform advanced signal processing functions, such as sensor linearization and temperature compensation or energy metering calculations. The ideal candidate has strong background in defining mixed-signal products with integrated processing units and has experience in defining or writing firmware routines to implement advanced signal processing functions. Those new devices are becoming more and more ASSPs (Application-specific standard products) or SoCs (System on Chips), therefore the candidate needs to be able to develop a deep understanding of the complete customer system requirements. The engineer develops detailed product specifications for those next generation products and provide guidance to the design, test, applications, and marketing teams to ensure flawless execution.
