Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in computer science, Information Technology ( IT ) , or cybersecurity
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux Administration
  • Experience with Storage Area Networks ( SAN ) , and Red Hat Linux administration, including with RHEL 8 or RHEL 9
  • Experience with VMWare or Nutanix virtualization
  • Experience writing and maintaining Bash scripts and Ansible playbooks and roles
  • Experience assisting others with IT issues
  • Knowledge of change management process and procedures
  • Ability to support after-hours, on-call availability
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Dell Unity Storage products, Dell iDRAC tools, Nutanix virtualization and clustering, and Python programming
  • Experience with Git usage and Ansible automation, including Ansible scripting
  • Experience with backup products administration and configuration from Veritas NetBackup and Cohesity
  • Experience with security tools, including Bigfix, SentinelOne, Nessus scanning, and SplunkForwarder
  • Experience with Red Hat Satellite
  • Experience maintaining compliant OS builds to various security standards such as CSET and STIG
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence, and networking protocols and troubleshooting
  • Possession of excellent documentation, problem-solving, task planning, and communication skills
  • IAT Level II or higher Certification such as Security+ CE Certification
  • RHEL Certifications
