About The Position

Join the Product Development Team as a System Engineer focused on delivering high-voltage battery systems for electric vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing team in the battery industry and contribute to the next generation of EV technology within a Tier 1 supplier environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the battery or EV industry, preferably in a Design and development, systems or validation role
• Exposure to high-voltage battery systems (400–1000V) including pack or module-level design
• Basic understanding of BMS, CAN communication, and automotive diagnostic protocols.
• Working knowledge of automotive product development cycles
• Proactive and collaborative mindset with strong communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel up to 15%, including visits to suppliers and OEMs, both domestic and international

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to safety standards such as ISO 26262, UN R100, IATF 16949 is a plus

Responsibilities

• Participating in RFQ/RFI processes by preparing technical input and documentation.
• Developing a compliance matrix to decompose system level requirements to subteams for evaluation
• Developing ADV plan to verify customer requirements
• Analyze customer drivecycles, flowing electrical requirements to electrical/electronics teams
• Liason between our life simulation team to ensure customer requirements are met
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (mechanical, thermal, software, testing) to ensure complete system integration.
• Supporting DFMEA, DVP&R planning, and functional safety efforts aligned with ISO 26262.
• Collaborating with global teams, including limited travel to suppliers or OEM sites.
