System Director - Accountable Care

About The Position

HCT seeks an experienced healthcare leader to serve as the Interim System Director of Accountable Care for a Medical Group within a healthcare system in Illinois. This position will provide strategic leadership for the development of hospital and provider centric assessments and performance improvement strategies, road map, tools, and methodologies as well as develop and implement performance improvement capabilities designed to enable Strategic, Business and Clinical Transformation across the System and Clinical Integration Network (CIN). Responsibilities include: Oversight, support and maintenance of the organization's accountable care programs as well as enhancing population health initiatives in service of value-based care principles and outcomes. Overseeing the care coordination, quality, and analytics leaders in developing and implementing integrated models of care management and quality improvement programs and services that control medical costs, create clinical efficiencies, and improve beneficiary health. Applies understanding of clinical practice, healthcare policy and financing, risk-based provider relationships, and evolving reimbursement models and integration strategy to promote partnerships with employed and independent providers, third-party specialized vendors, community organizations and other key ACO stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Administration, Nursing or related field is required.
  • 5 years leadership experience is required.
  • 5 years in nursing, provider or value based care experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Strongly prefers candidate with previous experience leading ACO (Accountable Care Organization) work.
