System Design Engineer

About The Position

As a Electrical / Systems Engineer you will contribute to the design and implementation of safety-related Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems. This role offers hands-on experience in engineering design, reliability analysis, and project support within a collaborative environment. You will report to the Functional and System Engineering Manager and be located at Warrendale, PA office on a hybrid basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Strong foundation in engineering principles and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of reliability engineering concepts preferred.
• Exposure to safety-critical or control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating Functional Logic Diagrams and Design Specifications.
• Support reliability analysis using tools such as Reliability Workbench.
• Help analyze field data and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on troubleshooting and design improvements.
• Participate in project scheduling and documentation activities.
