Responsibilities Overview: The Sponsor’s office serves as an accelerator to the organization’s mission through strategic investments, training, data science, commercial engagement, and data orchestration. The Sponsor requires a highly skilled individual to design, develop, and implement secure and efficient systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system engineering, cybersecurity, and data management, combined with excellent technical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing hands on support and guidance to senior USG leadership on emerging technologies and developing innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Contribute directly to advancing the Sponsor’s strategic objectives in the cyber domain by focusing on critical disciplines such as cloud engineering, data lifecycle management and optimization, and strategic contracting. Collaborate with various teams to develop, maintain, and optimize secure and efficient systems that support the expertise-driven mission of the Sponsor’s office. Design and implement complex system architectures and infrastructure that support the collection, processing, and analysis of cyber intelligence data to meet organizational objectives. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of systems critical to the Sponsor’s cyber mission. Identify potential vulnerabilities and perform comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability testing to implement security measures across Sponsor computing environments. Provide expert technical guidance on system security, compliance, accreditation, and best practices for secure data transfer and ingestion. Recommend and configure tools for data lifecycle management, ensuring the integrity, secure transfer, and accessibility of data across all stages of the data lifecycle. Provide expertise in the implementation and optimization of data orchestration platforms that align with the Sponsor’s mission requirements. Assess, integrate, and manage resources in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) to support organizational objectives and enhance cloud computing capabilities. Perform both global and local administrative functions within cloud infrastructure to facilitate access to services and data, ensuring these align with Sponsor’s mission-critical needs. Make recommendations and implement cloud-based solutions to support the secure, effective operation of critical cyber systems. Use the following Required Tools and Technologies; Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), Security assessment tools, Data orchestration platforms, System architectural design software (e.g., architectural modeling tools), Software for managing, planning, and documenting projects (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint)
