About The Position

System engineer for hardware design and support- designs internal evaluation boards and standard demo, makes special reference design based on customer’s requirement and reviews customer designs. Capable to build configuration file for demo and evaluation. Chip Verification- works closely with design team to verify each function of the new device, evaluates performance to see if it meets the design target and application requirements, identifies alternate solutions if issues can’t be addressed by design. Creates and maintains datasheet, applications note and deliver useful, accurate information to customer. Works with sales team in assessing potential application of OmniVision products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for development and implementation of customer applications and solutions. Direct customer support, providing customer solution, helping customers set up and troubleshoot their systems and providing onsite customer support. Provides follow-up support to sales team and customer by disseminating technical information on specific applications. Performs other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BSEE or equivalent; MSEE preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Must be comfortable making technical presentations in front of all levels of customers.
  • Minimum 5 yrs experience working in applications engineering in semiconductor industry.
