About The Position

System Application Analyst (Experienced or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a System Application Analyst to join our team in Berkeley, MO . This position supports the Test Operations & Engineering Systems & Tools team, working across the enterprise for Air Dominance Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E). The successful candidate will join a geographically dispersed and multidisciplinary infrastructure team that is responsible for developing and supporting engineering products used by design, manufacturing, and industrial engineers, as well as technicians and mechanics who support BT&E test labs. This person will research complex processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. They will consult with customers to clarify and refine their true requirements. This role will interpret and translate those complex requirements into functional specifications. A key focus of this role is to perform activities to develop and execute tests to validate system functionality against specifications. Core tasks include development of systems diagrams for Test Operations & Engineering that can integrate with IT and business systems. This person will be creating from scratch the low-level logical models, physical models, system interface diagrams, and system of systems (SoS) diagrams. They will be using DESE (Digital Enterprise Systems Engineering) to provide the full SoS solution with a single integrated model. The ideal candidate will fill the role of Systems Integration, Verification, Validation and test. They will help with the overall vision planning and road-mapping activities for the Test Operations & Engineering solutions , including implementing the systems, tools, training, and processes necessary to support those strategies. In addition, this person will be a focal for the Test Operations & Engineering System & Tools team by integrating these plans with the other elements within the organization and across our business partners to support Air Dominance BT&E functional excellence. Lastly, they will develop and execute tests to validate system functionality against specifications. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior level System Application Analysts. This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform majority of work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Requirements

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Expert building relationships with customers/ end users to gather and document functional & non-functional requirements
Expert at understanding the inter-relationships between components of systems, and plans and anticipates future events to create effective test plans
Expert developing/implementing new processes across an organization
Expert developing Systems Diagrams, including Interface Diagrams, and System of Systems Diagrams
Expert at collecting and using data to evaluate system effectiveness and issues
Expert with Cameo, or Visio, or similar software
Expert running SQL commands
Expert with HTML and web browser dev tools to reproduce and diagnose issues
Expert data flow and data mapping skills
Experience working with engineering software
Experience with software development tools Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, Toad, and Selenium
Experience with OAuth and SSO
Experience working with API's using Postman and Swagger documentation
Experience with Agile methodology (and Git/ADO/Jira)
Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite of Apps
Knowledge of test automation software

Responsibilities
