About The Position

We’re thrilled that you are interested in joining us here at the Amynta Group! The Operations Systems Analyst serves as a vital connector between Operations, Underwriting, IT, and our external partners. This role focuses on analyzing, enhancing, and supporting our core insurance systems to ensure strong operational performance, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes across our Property & Casualty lines. The ideal candidate has experience in Property & Casualty insurance—preferably within an MGA—and understands policy administration systems, rating engines, and end‑to-end insurance data workflows. This person brings both technical curiosity and an operational mindset, helping us improve system functionality, streamline processes, and support future growth.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Prior experience working with or within an MGA.
  • Hands-on experience with policy administration systems
  • Strong understanding of underwriting workflows, rating, policy lifecycle, and insurance operations.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong quality control discipline
  • Self-starter with ownership mentality

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multi-state programs and surplus lines.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and data exchange standards.
  • Exposure to business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document operational workflows across underwriting, policy issuance, endorsements, billing, and claims.
  • Identify system gaps and inefficiencies; recommend and implement scalable solutions.
  • Support configuration and optimization of policy administration and rating systems.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to implement system enhancements and integrations.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Lead or support system implementations, upgrades, and new product launches.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate testing cycles.
  • Create documentation including SOPs, process maps, and training materials.
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing support.
  • Ensure systems align with regulatory requirements for Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Support audit requests and maintain documentation standards.
  • Assist with carrier reporting and bordereaux management.
