Moog’s Enterprise Solutions Team is looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient System Analyst! In this role you will lead and support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) initiatives across the Digital Execution organization within Moog. You will ensure that applications are effectively planned, developed, tested, deployed, maintained, and retired in alignment with business goals. The ideal incumbent will have strong technical skills to support code quality assurance and basic administration tasks. You will work at hybrid work schedule (~three days per week) at our East Aurora, NY facility.

Requirements

  • Typically, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Over three (3) years of experience in systems analysis, application lifecycle management, or software development.
  • Over two (2) years of experience with TSQL, C# and Java.
  • Familiarity with ALM tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Ability to read and understand code in at least one major programming language.
  • Experience with server environments (Windows/Linux) and basic administration tasks.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite; we are unable to offer relocation assistance for this opportunity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with KQL a plus
  • Knowledge of database structures and best practices.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • ITIL or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM): Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise applications from requirements gathering to retirement.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams/Stakeholders to define application needs, enhancements, and performance metrics.
  • Manage application documentation, versioning, and change-control processes.
  • Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure timely and quality releases.
  • Monitor application performance and user feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Technical Analysis & Code Review: Read and interpret code (primarily in languages such as Java, C# and HTML) to assess quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
  • Work with developers to identify and resolve code-level issues.
  • Support automated and manual testing efforts by validating code logic and structure.
  • System Administration Support: Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure application environments are stable and secure.
  • Troubleshoot application-related issues that are impacting performance or availability.
