Job Summary Battelle has been providing research, development, test and evaluation services in support of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives defense for over 60 years. As part of our mission support, Battelle is working with the Capability Program Executive (CPE) Joint Project Lead (JPL) for CBRN integration. Our support will facilitate the advancement of the enterprise information management system to support nexgen CBRN threat warning and reporting, hazard prediction, and decision support capabilities for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of CBRN defense information. We are looking for a Senior System Analyst to perform the following activities in conjunction with this mission space. Provides technical assistance in engineering and scientific research, development, testing and related activities. Performs simple tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures in process or completion. Performs at this level on one, or a combination of the following tasks (not limited to): Construct simple equipment or parts; Service instruments or equipment; Conduct a variety of standardized tests; May prepare test specimens; and Set up equipment.Identifies requirements, analyzes, designs and implements computer-based information systems for highly complex information system projects. Leads project team and communicates with users for the determination of needs, enhancements, implementation and maintenance. Responsibilities Leads project team to design, develop, and implement computer-based information systems. Performs complex systems design and analysis. Assures functional needs are met in the preparation of specifications, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation and documentation of software, assisting less experienced staff as necessary. Provides technical advice to staff and trains less experienced staff members. Develops and maintains effective client/user relations of assigned projects. Assures completion of assigned projects within time and budget constraints. Coordinates activities with other Team Leads, CIT staff, and other laboratory staff as needed. Maintains and enhances current professional and technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance or Management Information; eight years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.
  • Must have a DoD Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • The individual shall have over 15 years of experience in program analysis and acquisition management.
  • They must support agile software development efforts, manage product roadmaps, backlog grooming, and technical documentation reviews.
  • Expertise in cyber software assurance and transitioning capabilities is required, along with proficiency in tools like JIRA/GitLab and MS Project.
