At Global Laser Enrichment (GLE), secure, reliable information systems are foundational to advancing first-of-a-kind uranium enrichment technology. We are seeking a senior-level technical leader to serve as the cornerstone of our classified and regulated IT infrastructure. Reporting to the GLE Information Security Programs Manager (ISPM) and partnering closely with the IT team and cross-functional stakeholders, this role bridges advanced systems engineering with national security and regulatory requirements. You will hold end-to-end technical ownership of the IT environment, ensuring every server, network component, and data repository is high-performing, hardened, and audit-ready at a moment’s notice. As a senior leader within the IT department, your focus shifts from routine troubleshooting to strategic hardening. You will architect systems that must withstand both sophisticated cyber threats and the intense scrutiny of federal inspectors from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). You act as a technical guardian for classified or sensitive unclassified information, ensuring that the infrastructure effectively implements the "Security-in-Depth" philosophy while maintaining high availability and access for authorized users. Why Join GLE? Serve as a technical authority supporting national security and clean energy innovation Lead secure infrastructure design and hardening in a highly regulated environment Work directly with federal standards, inspections, and compliance requirements Join a mission-driven organization building critical U.S. nuclear capability
