Systems Administrator GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT: Monitor and maintain the health and performance of systems. Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues Deploy, configure and troubleshoot network devices (to include cabling) for exercises, training events and/or special projects Configure and optimize systems to meet operational requirements Integrate various components and systems in a LVC environment Collaborate with other branches to ensure system compatibility and interoperability Implement and manage security policies and configurations Maintain documentation for system configurations and changes Configure and optimize systems to meet operational requirements Implement and manage security policies and configurations Maintain documentation for system configurations and changes Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management and/or customer personnel Serves as a customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced system administrator May serve as a technical team or task leader Follows DoD Directives and Instructions 8140, 8570-01-M, Army regulations AR 25-2, NIST Special Publications 800-53, 800-39, as well as following guidance from other cyber agencies in CSPMO, and NETCOM Participates in special projects as required WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
