About The Position

ProTech IT Solutions, a New Charter Technologies Company, is a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in White Plains, NY. We are seeking a skilled and client-focused System Administrator to join our team. This role supports clients both remotely and on-site, primarily in Westchester County and New York City. We’re looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and technically adept professional who thrives in a team setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional IT support and solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking and system administration.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable commute to White Plains, NY or willingness to relocate.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Familiarity with RMM tools such as ConnectWise.
  • Cloud experience with platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • College degree in IT or related field and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.
  • Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations.
  • Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity.
  • Utilize RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) for system monitoring and management.
  • Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.
  • Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.
  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively.
