For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented System Administrator . This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to administering and securing classified LAN/WAN networks, enforcing DoD cybersecurity policies, and ensuring availability and resiliency of mission systems supporting the DoD, while also providing hands-on IT support to our internal team. What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in secure network and system administration such as: Proven expertise in administering and maintaining Windows and Linux networks in classified environments . Experience in designing , implementing , and maintaining LAN/WAN equipment ; continuous monitoring , backup , and recovery . Ability to apply DISA STIGs , DCSA/DoD standards , and results from SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC) to achieve secure configurations and compliance . Conducting regular vulnerability scanning and remediation using ACAS/Nessus ; documenting findings and implementing fixes . Configuring and managing endpoint protection and access controls in accordance with DoD requirements . Performing configuration management for systems to ensure updates , patches , and changes are documented and secure . Providing first‑line IT support : troubleshoot Windows 10/11 , M365/O365 , VPN, printers, and peripherals; manage the ticketing system for timely resolution and escalation. Setting up and maintaining workstations and peripherals ; imaging devices and managing hardware lifecycle. Strong collaboration , communication , and customer support skills while working directly with government stakeholders and internal users. At G2 Ops, you can have it all.
