About The Position

King County Metro Transit is hiring a System Administrator (Project Program Manager II) to join Central Services within the Capital Division of Metro Transit Department. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for providing application support to users of Metro's Capital Management Reporting System or CMRS. CMRS supports the implementation of capital projects for the Department. The system includes planning, budgeting and contracts modules. Initially, this position will support the Project Controls Office's efforts to make improvements to their contracts modules with additional duties assigned as this work progresses. Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience providing application or system support with Aurigo Masterworks.
  • Knowledge of application workflows, including budgeting, contracting, and invoicing processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and application reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure data integrity and support compliance reporting.
  • Experience providing end-user guidance, support and training.
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to prepare documentation, meeting notes, and user training materials.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of or experience using Oracle-based systems to support similar systems.
  • Familiarity with construction management processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide application support for Metro Transit's Capital Management Reporting System (CMRS) contracts, planning, and project management modules, including Libraries and User Administration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the Metro's vendor(s) for service tickets, including submitting, tracking and following up on issues until resolution.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly meetings with Metro's vendor(s) including preparing agendas, document meeting notes, and tracking action items including informing stakeholders/users of status.
  • Provide support for Metro Transit employees in the effective use of CMRS, including troubleshooting and workflow guidance.
  • Create, update, and maintain Metro's application user manuals, training guides, and/or documentation to ensure consistent system use across Divisions and Department.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity within CMRS including performing validations, corrections, and quality checks to ensure accurate reporting for stakeholders/users.
  • Provide operational support to Metro Transit employees with successful utilization of the system workflows.
  • Responsible for testing and validating system updates, patches, enhancements prior to release and tracking issues as they arise while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency in contracts, planning, and project management modules.
  • Coordinate with Metro Transit employees to ensure data required to support other systems is maintained in a timely manner.
  • Other related applications or database duties as assigned.
