About The Position

Leidos' Corporate Information Security Office, reporting through our Digital Modernization sector, is seeking a System Administrator to support various classified environments. You will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and supporting complex classified information systems, as well as ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulations. Location: Full Time, onsite at our Beavercreek, OH office. Clearance: You must be a U.S .Citizen with a current DoD Secret clearance and eligibility to be cleared for Special Access Programs (SAP) What will you do in this role? This role includes a combination of duties to protect information, and maintain security controls, for an entire system, site, or program to reduce risk. Ensure programs maintain favorable standings with government regulations and maintain compliance artifacts such as vulnerability scans, STIGs, SCAP scans, and documentation. Install, configure, and sustain a mixture of Windows and RedHat-based systems. Work under guidance of the Sr. ISSE to accomplish time-sensitive projects such as infrastructure buildouts, complex software installations, customer and sub-contractor coordination, and end-user outreach. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience or equivalent relevant industry-standard certifications and experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current Active Secret security clearance to be considered along with sustained ability to be cleared to Special Access Programs and ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
  • Must have a DoD 8570 IAT level II or higher certification such as CompTIA Security+.
  • Experience operating in a Windows- based domain environment to include management of workstations, Active Directory, and DNS.
  • Familiarity navigating a Windows-based operating system to include knowledge of: TCP/IP, software installations, running predefined scripts, accessing SMB shares, remote system management, NTFS permissions, and common administration tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux- based distributions and willingness to complete full RHCSA training within a year.
  • Knowledge of change management procedures, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and maintaining compliance artifacts such as SCAP scans, STIGs, and Nessus Vulnerability reports.

  • RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification.
  • Experience working with virtual environments
