SPSD is seeking a skilled and collaborative Systems Administrator to support and enhance our electronic Montana Acquisition and Contracting System (eMACS). eMACS is our eProcurement software solution used by the State of Montana that provides vendor management services, bid and procurement processes, and contract management tools, as well as the ability to track contract spend. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of systems that support vendor management, competitive bidding and procurement workflows, contract lifecycle management, and tracking of contract spend. The Systems Administrator will work closely with procurement professionals and other stakeholders to ensure reliable system performance, data integrity, and continuous improvement of our procurement technology environment. This position is one of two dedicated IT roles within the Procurement team and will serve as the primary technical resource for system administration. The other IT role provides help desk and user support, allowing this position to focus on system configuration, integrations, security, and long-term system stewardship. If you enjoy partnering with business users, taking ownership of critical enterprise systems, and improving how technology supports efficient and transparent procurement, this role may be a great fit for you. Candidates who are detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to strengthen system reliability and usability are encouraged to apply and join SPSD in supporting impactful, mission-driven work.
