About The Position

This System Administrator position is located at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, requiring onsite work and an active Top Secret clearance. The role involves installing and configuring software, hardware, and virtual networks, setting up user accounts and workstations, and managing network servers and technology tools. Key responsibilities also include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, ensuring system efficiency and security, applying patches and updates, and managing licenses and CAs. The administrator will provide technical support, resolve IT-related issues, create and maintain internal documentation, and train staff on new technologies. Understanding STIG compliance and implementation is also crucial. Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Any IAT Level II Certification
  • Strong Knowledge of platforms such as Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux, VMWare, ESXI
  • Strong knowledge and background in Cisco virtual machines to include (CUCM, CMS, PCD, CIMC etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Certifications like MCSA or CompTIA Server+ are a plus
