About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a System Administrator to join our growing team! Specifically, we are looking for a system administrator with hands-on experience in Linux server patching and upgrades, network infrastructure administration, virtualization and VM management, and related technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• 10 years’ experience as a SA in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
• 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Security+ certification
• Proficient with Linux
• minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years)
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources
• VM experience
• Security+ certification

• Working knowledge and ability to use and/or support some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools:
• Dell and HPE servers
• Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Palo Alto firewalls
• Ansible
• Nutanix -- VM management
• Rubrik -- data storage
• Nomad containers
• SALT scripts
• LibreNMS
• NetBox

Responsibilities

• Stand up, configure and maintain Linux servers
• Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware
• Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable
• Support documentation of non-applicable controls
• Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software
• Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure
• Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware
• Document inventory changes
