About The Position

Configures, administers, and installs multi-user and client-server software. Monitors and maintains system performance, security logs, backups and user access and privileges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from four year college or university in Computer Science or related field; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• An additional one year experience in troubleshooting networked work stations is required.
• Knowledge of Database software; Design software; Development software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of installation, troubleshooting, and optimization preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft, Linux, Unix, and/or various operating systems.
• Familiar with the notion of computer coding and programming.
• Works with several departments outside of IT on a daily basis.
• Must possess a high level of patience and professionalism when working with other employees who will have a varying range of computer competencies.
