About The Position

The Global Investment Banking division is looking to add a syndicate support analyst to the Leveraged Finance Capital Markets team, based in New York City.

Requirements

  • BS in Finance/Accounting or related fields
  • 0-2 years of experience in a financial institution
  • Must be advanced with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point)
  • Project management mind-set and approach
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking product set preferred (Leveraged Finance)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Extremely detail oriented and analytical
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills
  • Team player

Responsibilities

  • Maintain databases encompassing High Yield, Leveraged Loan, and Bank Loan comparable transactions, issuance, secondary trading levels, and upcoming transactions
  • Coordinate with market data sources (High Yield and Leveraged Loans) and Corporate Banking to obtain and maintain datasets and (Bank Loans)
  • Assist in primary trade booking, fee tracking, regulatory reporting, and closing processes for Lead Left High Yield, Leveraged Loan, and Bank Loan syndications
  • Assist Leveraged Finance Capital Markets bankers on ad-hoc projects and market data-related asks as they relate to primary offerings
  • Source Lender Presentations and interface with other bank syndicates for regulatory reporting asks
  • Maintain investor outreach and allocation database for High Yield, Leveraged Loan, and Bank Loan syndications
  • Create and maintain league tables, credentials pages, and other marketing materials
  • On-going lead for various ad-hoc strategic initiatives (ex: AI integration initiative) and internal management meetings

  • The expected salary range for this particular position is $110,000 - $135,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
