The Switchgear Project Assistant reports to the Switchgear Manager and is responsible for assisting the Switchgear department by executing administrative and project-related tasks across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Entry Level Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, etc)
Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task; ability to work with limited supervision
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to see, talk and hear
Ability to sit for 8 hours a day

Nice To Haves

Previous sales support experience
Previous project management experience
Previous Eclipse experience

Responsibilities

Enter and coordinate customer bid requests
Assist in preparing competitive quotations for small to mid-sized projects; submit RFQs to appropriate vendors
Prepare electronic job folders in business systems
Order entry
Generate RGAs
Expedite and track shipments
Prepare billing reconciliations; assist in resolving disputes
Communicate effectively with customers and vendors
Assist with carrier claims
Follow up with vendors on case requests
Follow through on all outstanding items with customers and vendors
Other duties as assigned
