About The Position

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Entertain audiences of all ages and abilities at various events. From game time at Clover Park, to large and small public and private events on and off-site. Adherence to all appearance protocols ensuring that the mascot always looks their best at all appearances. Be punctual for all appearances, ready to perform at all events on time. Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm. Can-do attitude and ready to work together with mascot managers, fellow performers, and handlers to foster an ensemble atmosphere of collaboration. Care for the mascot costume adhering to the care and maintenance guidelines for pre and post performance. Attend all Mascot training sessions and rehearsals, upholding the highest standards of performance and professionalism. Represent the NY Mets and Clover Park, upholding the image and values of the brand in a professional manner at all times. Requirements

• Previous experiences in physical performance, athletics, or a similar role.
• Excellent stamina and physical fitness.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to work on short notice.
• Local to the Florida area and availability to work the 2026 Spring Training season games.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• The position involves significant movement and physical activity.
• Performers for Mrs. Met should meet the height requirements of between 5’2” - 5’5”
• Performers for Mr. Met should meet the height requirements of between 5’9” - 6’
