Nice To Haves

Swim & Safety Knowledge (Preferred) - Previous swim instruction or lifeguard experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage with parents and customers, providing updates on swimmer progress.
Ensure a high level of customer service and maintain strong relationships with families.
Train front desk staff on promotions and best practices to convert trial lessons into weekly enrollments.
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 10-20 Swim Associates
Lead daily shifts, ensuring smooth transitions and proper class coverage.
Conduct monthly 1-on-1 coaching sessions with Swim Associates.
Onboard and train new instructors, ensuring they meet Big Blue Swim School standards.
Facilitate bi-weekly team training to reinforce safety protocols, teaching techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for swimmers and families.
Oversee water quality, pump room operations, and overall pool maintenance.
Ensure all staff follow safety procedures and hold required certifications.
