Make the world’s most advanced SWC Fire Control Common Infrastructure Product Team (CIPT) even smarter. As a SWC CIPT System Engineer - COTs/NDI Lead (Sr Systems Eng) for SWC Fire Control, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development of Strategic Weapons Systems Capabilities under the nuclear triad. Working in this capacity you will: Lead the integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Non-Developmental Items (NDI) in our fire control systems with a continuous development mindset. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate and iterate on COTS/NDI solutions. Oversee testing and validation to ensure systems meet evolving program requirements. Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Enhance engineering processes and standards with a focus on agility, innovation, and robust software processes.

Lead the integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Non-Developmental Items (NDI) in our fire control systems with a continuous development mindset.

Oversee testing and validation to ensure systems meet evolving program requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Enhance engineering processes and standards with a focus on agility, innovation, and robust software processes.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time but preferred at at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Strong background in systems engineering with a focus on integrating COTS/NDI products.
In-depth understanding of software development processes to ensure successful integration and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proven success in leading complex engineering projects with a continuous development approach.
Deep understanding of fire control systems and related technologies.
Quick adaptability to new technologies and agile methodologies.
Experience with the CIPT/GPC program or similar defense initiatives.
Dedication to fostering innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices, with a strong emphasis on software process integration.
