About The Position

The Senior Vice President, Workplace Strategy will develop workplace strategy solutions and lead client-facing engagements around the future of work, return to office, space programming, and portfolio optimization. In addition to a consulting, planning and technical background, the role requires strong presentation and organizational skills. 20-25% travel is required for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Required)
  • 10-15+ years’ related experience in Workplace strategy, architecture, consulting, corporate real estate, facilities management, project management, construction management, design, human resources, organizational development, communications or change management roles
  • Strong background in business development and point-of-sale presentation skills
  • Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
  • Strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • People management experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, REVIT, BIM or other drafting technologies is (Required)
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in an agile environment, including virtual collaboration with remote colleagues
  • Ability to multi-task in high-pressure deadline driven environments
  • Previously managed multiple projects and coordinated activities for various individuals/groups
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative research data and synthesize into meaningful and actionable results
  • Energetic, creative, and willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment; enjoys variety and challenges of consulting work
  • An entrepreneurial orientation with strong understanding of the business development challenges in the Real Estate advisory services sector
  • LEADERSHIP: A leader with exceptional communication skills coupled with excellent active listening skills. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Establish and maintain strong relationships on all levels of organization.
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Track record as a key sales partner and contributor in working with a variety of internal and external customers and stakeholders in long, complex sales cycles/environments.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or M.Arch, advanced degree and/or certifications (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in CAFM/IWMS system or other workplace technologies is (Preferred)
  • Workplace program implementation experience in a corporate setting, working alongside cross-functional real estate, facilities, IT, HR, finance and change management teams (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our brokers for business development, pursuits, proposals, and client service delivery
  • Develop, implement, and manage Workplace Strategy engagements
  • Lead programming efforts, employee surveys, test-fits, business interviews, utilization studies, mobility assessments, visioning sessions and focus groups.
  • Collaborate with JLL Marketing and Research to create workplace collateral and thought leadership pieces
  • Refine and localize the workplace service offering (process, tools, and deliverables) to be relevant in your market
  • Understand the real estate project life cycle and be able to gather and analyze data and develop insights to inform and business decisions specific to existing and future client requirement
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) by staying abreast of current workplacetrends across industries and geographies.
  • Represent JLL’s workplace team at relevant industry forums and professional associations
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal customers (brokers, leadership, etc.) and key clients
  • Steer the direction of workplace projects and oversee the process / output of your team to ensure a high level of execution and client satisfaction
  • Act as escalation point for delivery issues
