About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Vice President (SVP) of North American Local (NAL) Field Sales. This role sits within our US Vehicle Payments line of business and can be located remotely within the U.S (though we prefer candidates in either Brentwood, TN or Atlanta). As the SVP of NAL Field Sales, you will serve as a second-line sales leader, reporting directly to executive leadership and overseeing a team of frontline Field Sales VPs, who collectively lead a large, distributed field sales organization. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving execution against aggressive revenue targets, and building a scalable, high-performance sales culture across the organization. This role is highly strategic but also hands-on—ideal for a proven sales leader who can operate at altitude while still diving deep into talent, performance, forecasting, and deal strategy.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of B2B sales experience
  • 5+ years successful experience selling fleet/fuel cards required
  • 8+ years of sales leadership experience. Second-line leadership with direct responsibility for frontline managers is preferred
  • Demonstrated success personally building and operating large, distributed field sales teams
  • Proven ability to hire, develop, performance-manage, and upgrade frontline sales leaders over time
  • Proven ability to coach and manage sales teams in highly metrics driven role to success
  • Highly data-oriented, with strong analytical skills across sales funnel management, forecasting, and performance diagnostics
  • Track record of strong forecast discipline and predictable revenue delivery
  • Experience thriving in matrixed, cross-functional environments, influencing without direct authority
  • High learning velocity with the ability to quickly absorb new markets, products, and operating models
  • Deep experience leading hunter-oriented, net-new business sales motions
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Executive presence, clear communicator, and effective coach

Responsibilities

  • Owning and executing the overall field sales strategy for North American Fleet, inclusive of Fleet spend growth
  • Personally building, scaling, and operating large, distributed field sales organizations, with accountability for consistent performance across regions
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of frontline sales leaders, with a strong focus on hiring, developing, and upgrading manager talent
  • Driving predictable attainment of revenue, pipeline, and new logo acquisition goals, supported by strong forecast discipline
  • Translating corporate objectives into clear, executable regional and territory-level action plans
  • Establishing and inspecting against data-driven KPIs, including funnel conversion, pipeline coverage, activity metrics, onboarding velocity, and forecast accuracy
  • Applying a strong analytical and sales-funnel-oriented approach to diagnose performance gaps, improve execution, and inform planning and forecasting
  • Partnering closely with frontline leaders on deal strategy, pricing, negotiation, and competitive positioning—especially in complex, field-based sales cycles
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, Product, Finance, and Implementation, demonstrating effectiveness in a matrixed organization
  • Optimizing territory design, coverage models, and lead generation strategies to support scalable growth
  • Serving as a senior representative of Corpay in the marketplace, including customer meetings and industry events
  • Providing executive-level reporting, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership, grounded in data and field reality
