About The Position

As Senior Vice President of Fleet Sales, you will play a critical role in bringing Inspiration’s fleet services to market and scaling our commercial impact. You will be both a strategic leader and a hands-on operator setting the sales vision while actively engaging with customers, partners, and priority deals. You’ll build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales organization while personally driving revenue growth and shaping our go-to-market approach. With a deep understanding of our capabilities and cost structure, you’ll help define how we position our offerings, structure deals, and deliver value to customers; laying the foundation for a scalable, durable sales engine as the business grows.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of B2B sales experience required; direct, long-term fleet management or fleet leasing sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success selling complex, value-based solutions within transportation, fleet electrification, energy, or adjacent industries.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully taking new or disruptive products to market.
  • Strong understanding of leasing contracts, deal structures, and ancillary fleet management services.
  • Comfort operating in long, complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Experienced people manager with a track record of leading, coaching, and performance-managing sales teams to exceed targets.
  • Influential seller with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to engage and close at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Strategic thinker capable of balancing high-level vision with detailed execution, data analysis, and industry insights.
  • Proven ability to drive disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
  • Expert-level proficiency with CRM tools, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills; able to manage multiple complex deals alongside leadership responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative leader skilled at directing and coordinating cross-functional internal resources.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, evolving market environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a hands-on sales leader, owning the full talent lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Lead deal strategy, provide pipeline guidance, and support negotiations to advance opportunities through long, complex sales cycles (12–18 months).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align internal resources, remove obstacles, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Maintain a disciplined, data-driven sales process by managing pipeline, forecasting, and sales activity through Salesforce.
  • Use CRM insights to coach performance, improve forecast accuracy, and drive predictable results.
  • Establish and scale repeatable lead generation and demand creation motions that drive a healthy, high-quality pipeline.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers and build multi-level, long-term relationships across target accounts.
  • Represent the company as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador through customer engagements, conferences, and industry events.
