About The Position

The Senior Vice President (SVP), Corporate Finance Manager will serve as a strategic leader within NCB's Finance team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and based in Arlington, VA. This role will establish and lead the Corporate Finance function, creating an integrated framework that connects strategic financial planning, capital and liquidity management, and performance governance across the organization. The SVP will collaborate extensively across Treasury, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Risk, Internal Audit, and related teams to strengthen financial resilience, enhance governance, and advance NCB's operational excellence goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of financial analysis experience at a financial institution and/or financial services firm
  • Proven leadership experience in driving change and improving financial programs and processes
  • Adaptive team player that can effectively coordinate initiatives particularly involving cross-functional teams
  • Advanced skills in developing complex Excel-based financial and valuation models
  • Strong relationship building with employees across an organization
  • Effective communicator with outstanding presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and committed to continual learning and process improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree and MBA or a master's degree in a finance related field

  • Preferred: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Finance Leadership : Design and lead a unifying Corporate Finance structure that operates across disciplines and teams to embed financial discipline, strategic alignment, and process excellence across the organization.
  • Bank wide Integration : Oversee and enhance end-to-end financial processes or activities, in areas such as collateral operations, capital management, and liquidity forecasting, that involve multiple manual handoffs between Finance, Operations, and IT, with the objective of building operational efficiencies while adding automation.
  • Benchmarking : Spearhead comprehensive financial performance and benchmarking analyses with a focus on key metrics used to evaluate the Bank's financial strength to help inform strategic decisions.
  • Analytics: Craft in depth financial models to analyze the initial and subsequent impacts to all relevant metrics for potential strategic initiatives.
  • Stress Testing and Scenario Planning : Lead the planning and refinement of enterprise stress testing and capital adequacy assessments to enhance the integration of individual analyses performed by multiple teams.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation : Foster a culture of analytical rigor, spreadsheet automation, and process innovation across all Finance teams.
  • Performance Metrics : Oversee the development and tracking of financial KPIs—including balance sheet efficiency, funding structure resilience, and liquidity performance—to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Technology Enablement : Partner closely with IT and data governance teams to strengthen financial infrastructure, automation, data integrity, and analytics scalability.
  • Risk and Compliance Alignment : Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management to continually enhance processes and risk response capabilities.
