Position Overview The SVP, Company Operations will be a trusted advisor and key partner to the CEO, working closely with the executive leadership team and senior leadership team to ensure alignment, coordination, and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives. This individual will lead cross functional projects, drive their own portfolio of strategic initiatives, streamline communication and decision-making across teams, and serve as a catalyst for organizational effectiveness and growth. The SVP, Company Operations is expected to own and autonomously manage a portfolio of high impact projects. As the senior leadership team lead and liaison to the executive team, this role will help ensure that the company is operating efficiently, with a clear focus on priorities, outcomes, and company culture. This assignment is a growth opportunity, with the potential for assuming increasing responsibility and ownership. While this role does not directly own functional departments, it operates with broad visibility and influence across Elite and is empowered to drive alignment and execution across leadership teams. This role focuses on driving enterprise alignment and execution rather than direct functional ownership. Work Arrangement: Office-Based New York City operates primarily within the Eastern Time Zone.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, operations, strategy or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or management consulting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a high-growth company, ideally in the software or technology sector.
  • Leadership & Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, communicate, and build relationships with executives, senior leaders, and teams across the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex problems, and synthesize data to make recommendations. A results-driven mindset with a track record of executing on large-scale initiatives.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, keep stakeholders aligned, and drive projects to completion.
  • Organizational Agility: Ability to navigate and lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Comfortable working with ambiguity and managing competing priorities.

  • Ability to travel up 10–25% as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partner to the CEO: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing guidance on key strategic decisions, priorities, and challenges. Help the CEO to focus on high-impact activities and drive additional value in realizing the CEO’s vision. Translate CEO and board 2 priorities into executable plans and ensure leadership teams deliver against defined outcomes.
  • Leadership Team Coordination: Serve as the lead coordinator for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Act as the liaison between the executive team and senior leadership. Lead operating rhythms and ensure decisions are made, documented, and executed with clear accountability. Facilitate regular meetings, ensure alignment on strategic goals, and drive accountability for execution.
  • Program Management: Lead and manage high-priority strategic initiatives and crossfunctional projects, including a portfolio of self-managed initiatives. Ensure that timelines, resources, and milestones are clearly defined and met, with regular reporting on progress.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvements, optimize decision-making workflows, and ensure smooth communication between departments to achieve company goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, investors, and key clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead the teams in navigating complex challenges and aligning on business objectives. Keep teams aligned with the company’s strategic direction and long-term vision and ensure that key information flows efficiently between all levels of the organization.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Partner with the CEO and ELT in making informed decisions by providing data, insights, and recommendations. Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business results.
  • Cultural Stewardship: Work closely with HR and leadership teams to reinforce company culture, ensuring that the organization remains focused on its values and mission as it scales.
  • Executive Support: Assist the CEO with executive communications, presentations, and key deliverables, including preparation for board meetings, investor updates, and high-level external communications.
  • Ensure strategic priorities are translated into executable plans and hold cross-functional leaders accountable for delivery.
  • Drive enterprise operating cadence, including planning cycles, KPI reviews, and executive reporting, ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.
