About The Position

The Chief Revenue Cycle Officer is responsible for the daily and strategic oversight, management, and direction of all functions within the revenue cycle including patient access, patient financial services, health information management, revenue integrity and the clinical revenue cycle for all facility and physician revenue cycle operations. This position is a key contributor along with the rest of the system finance team and operations leadership to promote a stable and successful financial position for Sentara Health. Location This is an onsite position located at the corporate campus of Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience and successful track record in revenue cycle leadership position within a large, complex health system
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large, complex teams
  • Broad experience in the healthcare industry
  • Superior knowledge of clinical revenue cycle, compliance, and best-practice billing and collections
  • Operates with highest level of ethics and integrity and “does the right thing”
  • Bachelor Level Degree in Accounting or Finance
