About The Position

Join the growing Team at GDIT as a Sustainment Reporting and Analytics Consultant to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Program known as Patients at the Heart (PATH) EHR. Your efforts will serve to improve the patient experience and quality of care for over 600 facilities across 37 states serving the American Indian and Alaska Native populations. HOW A SUSTAINMENT REPORTING AND ANALYTICS CONSULTANT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Partner with GDIT Leadership as well as IHS, Oracle Health, and S&P associates to help provide technical expertise in helping stakeholders within the organization understand potential reporting & analytic products and functionalities. Cross-walk legacy report functionality to new system functionalities including reports, workflows, registries, mpages, etc. Provide technical expertise in helping stakeholders within the organization understand report and analytic details including underlying logic, platform or tool functionalities, etc. Assist users in adopting new or existing functionality through technical documentation or standard operating procedures type documentation. Contribute to the implementation of robust data governance policies, and ensures compliant, role-based access to sensitive analytics assets. Be trusted to be a subject matter expert in a matrixed team responsible for assisting in gathering reporting requirements, understanding and applying vendor technology roadmaps, ensuring standards integration within the products, and health information management complex. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years of experience in Healthcare IT reporting & analytics roles. Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) reporting domains such as PowerInsight, Discern Analytics, HealtheIntent, registries, or mPages. Strong understanding of healthcare reporting structures, data models, and clinical workflows. Experience supporting reporting sustainment or system transitions, including cross-walking legacy functionality to modern platforms. Knowledge of data governance practices, role-based access controls, or analytics security frameworks. Proficiency in understanding healthcare quality programs, reporting standards, or clinical performance metrics. Understanding of healthcare IT interoperability concepts, such as data extraction, integration points, or EHR interfaces. Experience working in a matrixed environment with clinicians, IT teams, vendors, and program leadership. Demonstrated ability to support large-scale sustainment programs or system upgrades in healthcare organizations. Experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely. DESIRED QULIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience supporting Federal EHR programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Healthcare IT reporting & analytics roles.
