About The Position

Environmentally motivated individual to support comprehensive sport sustainability projects and perform environmental assessments with a focus on sustainable event support and management. Projects involve organizational evaluations, program implementation, emissions calculations, supply chain embedded carbon analyses, material management programs, social sustainability programs, energy and water efficient resource utilization at customer locations, and on-site work for sustainability at client events among other topics. This role will help conduct assessments, generate reports indicating overall sustainability baseline, create operations and management plans, and support client’s on-site sustainability programs. Has the ability to analyze impacts and recommend best practices. Maintains pre-established standards for safety and environmental issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Sustainability, or Business
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience
  • 1 year of relevant work experience in project/business management. Environmental experience is required (in addition to education requirement)

Responsibilities

  • Support sustainability evaluations and solutions with a focus on materials management at events, greenhouse gas emissions, life cycle assessments,impact reduction strategies.
  • Support sustainability assessments and implementation programs. Support final reports, including environmental, social, and economic analysis.
  • Research and implement sustainable event management procedures and impact reduction strategies.
  • Support project managers with on-site program implementation at stadiums and events.
  • Integrate social sustainability priorities into emissions management strategies.
  • Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Self-educate on current sustainability topics, issues, and trends.
  • Responsible for organizing and interpreting data.
  • Travel up to 50%
