About The Position

They provide guidance and support to organisations by managing sustainability risks, identifying opportunities, and driving positive social and environmental impact. As a sustainability generalist at PwC, you will utilise your skills and experience across environmental, social, governance (ESG) topics and sustainability more broadly. You will analyse client needs and provide consulting services across different areas in the sustainability lifecycle, including strategy, transformation, and reporting. Driven by curiosity, you are a reliable, contributing member of a team. The Opportunity As a Sustainability - Strategy & Operations Intern, you will engage in projects that focus on sustainability initiatives, gaining exposure to strategic operations and contributing to impactful environmental solutions. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, observing professional work environments, and learning about PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research, contributing to the team's success while developing your personal brand. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients. Your role will involve analyzing data, managing resources, and understanding the impacts of climate change, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of sustainability practices. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following field(s) of study: Environmental Economics, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Public Policy Analysis, Sustainable Resource Management
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
  • Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school
  • Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school

  • Supporting teams in sustainability strategy and operations projects
  • Participating in the design and implementation of climate change adaptation programs

  • Contributing to the development of energy transition financing strategies
