As a Sustainability professional, you will be responsible to: Mange regional Sustainability commitments and drive strategy to achieve targets. Develop and manage research collaborations with academic partners to drive sustainability research and translate this knowledge into impacts on products and services. Support product translation of research prototypes Support development of life cycle analyses (LCA’s). Participate in knowledge exchange with various businesses and functions within the company to advance Sustainability in Siemens Healthineers’ products and services. Participate in external sustainable healthcare focused consortia to represent Siemens Healthineers Writing and supporting extramural grant applications This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers Project management Provide strategic recommendations based on insights to improve sustainability performance. Data analytics and statistics Knowledge of Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) tools and methodology Experience in a modern programming language Analyze data to identify environmental impacts, including carbon footprint, resource consumption, and waste generation. Experience writing academic papers and presenting research at conferences

Requirements

  • Project management experience
  • 1-3 years demonstrated and applied understanding of data analytics, database management, and data storytelling.
  • Advanced Degree in Computer Science or Health Informatics or related field, with a focus on environmental science
  • Working knowledge of Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) methodology and tools.
  • Solid understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics and ability to explain these to a novice audience.
  • Ability to create data visualizations with a business intelligence tools like Qlik, Power BI, or similar tool.
  • Strong skills in data cleaning, transformation, and integration.
  • Strong attention to detail when it comes to data cleaning, quality assurance, and documentation
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Data Warehouse, Snowflake Business Intelligence Software
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage in complex team environments
  • Outstanding writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a large team
  • You have the desire to learn, ask questions and be resourceful to identify innovative applications, develop own, creative solutions to complex problems
  • You are willing and able to travel up to 50%, including short term international trips
