Major Duties Under general supervision, the Sustainability Program Coordinator supports the implementation of CSUN’s Road Map to Sustainability, evaluates sustainable technologies, manages critical program data, and coordinates campus sustainability engagement and external reporting. Key responsibilities include: Assists in the development and execution of sustainability projects as outlined in the roadmap. Assists with program coordination and alignment of initiatives with the Roadmap to Sustainability. Collects, analyzes, and maintains data required for external sustainability reporting, such as AASHE STARS, Second Nature, and CSU Chancellor's Office. Identifies and evaluates potential funding opportunities for sustainability projects, including grants, rebates, and incentives. Coordinates telling CSUN’s sustainability story under the vision of the Director. Develops, implements, and maintains Smartsheet tools—including workflows, dashboards, forms, and automations—to support sustainability planning, project tracking, and reporting.
