Purpose: The Sustainability Program Coordinator will support the Sustainability Team in developing and delivering presentations, training materials, and communications to promote sustainability initiatives across multiple geographies. They will support the implementation of sustainability initiatives within various business units including environmental data collection, stakeholder engagement, decarbonization measures, and renewable energy projects.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant field, preferably in real estate, business, sustainability or environmental science.
  • Candidates should possess a high level of initiative and be able to work independently.
  • A working level of English is required for this role.
  • Team player who works effectively with others to achieve identified business outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Power BI, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of renewable energy certificates (RECs), carbon offsets, and other market-based mechanisms.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of analysis methods/tools to assess strategy impact and effectiveness in areas of environmental data collection, stakeholder engagement initiatives, decarbonization measures, etc.
  • Support Sustainability Reporting requirements to both the Head Office and local regulatory frameworks.
  • Assist with the creation of educational materials and presentations for internal and external stakeholders regarding applicable sustainability standards, regulatory compliance requirements and decarbonization strategies.
  • Support Sales with customer data reporting.
  • Respond to clients' sustainability-related data and information requests, including but not limited to: Energy consumption, GHG emissions, waste production, water consumption, certified and recycled content, and paper use.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainability priorities into operations, investments and management practices.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Human Resources, Compliance, and Legal to compile and quality-check Sustainability data.
