Sustainability Analyst
About The Position
The Sustainability Analyst will work closely with the Global Sustainability Team on all aspects of Samsonite's global sustainability program. As a Sustainability Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organization operates in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. This position will have a high potential for internal growth for someone with a passion for corporate sustainability/ESG and a strong interest in working collaboratively with colleagues across a diverse global company. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, environmental expertise, and business acumen to drive meaningful change and achieve our sustainability goals. This role will report to our Associate Manager, Sustainability. This is a hybrid role, we work on site 4 days and remotely 1 day, weekly.
Responsibilities
- Help manage and further evolve our sustainability reporting and support annual sustainability data collection.
- Analyze and synthesize ESG data for performance tracking and reporting purposes.
- Support the creation of the annual ESG Report and other regulatory and voluntary sustainability disclosures.
- Support the sustainability assurance process.
- Conduct research and benchmarking and track corporate sustainability best practices and trends.
- Help prepare ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Administer our sustainability software for data collection.
- Serve as the key contact for internal partners to assist them with data input, troubleshooting, and reporting functionality within systems.
- Support the development of strategies, goals, and action plans.
- Help to coordinate sustainability projects with internal stakeholders and external consultants across topic areas in our Product, Planet and People pillars.
- Develop presentations and written materials for internal and external audiences.
- Help advance our sustainability communications/marketing across brands, including for employee engagement
- Support the team in any other task, including admin tasks, as needed.
