Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques
  • Passion for creativity, flavor balance, and presentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Food Safety Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls
  • Ensure all food meets safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain prep levels, freshness, and consistency throughout service
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop specials and seasonal offerings
  • Provide outstanding guest service with speed, accuracy, and artistry
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation
  • Assist with inventory and ordering of fish and sushi-related items
