Teaching Fellows at the Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin work with a team of educators to coordinate and facilitate the museum’s PK-12 and family programs. Teaching Fellows prepare lesson plans and teaching materials, teach in the galleries, and maintain communication with participating schoolteachers. Teaching Fellows may also participate in and assist with docent training sessions, professional development workshops for classroom teachers, development and implementation of programs for family audiences, and gallery teaching with University audiences. Teaching Fellows are also expected to participate in occasional professional development seminars for Blanton Fellows as they occur. Graduate students in the arts and humanities, education, or related disciplines currently enrolled full-time at the University of Texas at Austin may apply for this position.
