About The Position

Under general supervision, the Surveyor performs detailed field surveys at the assigned site. This role involves overseeing the activities of field survey crews, maintaining accurate notes, records, and sketches to document and certify work. The Surveyor is responsible for updating conventional and electronic (GIS) files, researching previous survey evidence, maps, physical evidence, and other records. They also recommend methods and procedures for conducting assigned surveys, prepare and present findings to engineering and operational personnel, and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Advanced training or education in surveying, mapping or a related field
• One (1) year surveying experience relevant to assignment

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• Part 107 UAS Drone License
• Experience with Lidar Scanner
• Experience with Trimble Business Center
• Experience with LAS, LAZ, point clouds
• Experience with Propeller or other Photogrammetry Software
