We are looking for an experienced Surveyor II-III in Spokane or Coeur d'Alene to lead field-focused projects, collaborate with professional surveyors, and deliver high-quality results. You should have experience with roadway improvements, boundary work, utility networks, construction layout, and topographic mapping.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a surveyor with relevant fieldwork expertise.
  • Strong understanding of control networks, construction staking, monument recovery, and topographic/as-built surveys.
  • Familiarity with field and office software, including Leica or Trimble equipment.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage priorities across multiple projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Scanning experience is desirable but can be developed on the job.

Nice To Haves

  • Construction Observation and/or Construction Inspection experience
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation InRoads or OpenRoads drafting experience
  • Bid Document assembly (plans, specifications, and cost estimating) experience
  • Part 107 license

Responsibilities

  • Perform field surveying tasks, including control networks, topographic surveys, construction staking, level loops, monument recovery, and as-built surveys.
  • Plan and execute daily fieldwork while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Utilize field-to-finish capabilities, including Leica or Trimble equipment and related software.
  • Collaborate with professional surveyors to produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Engage in boundary work, roadway and interchange improvements, utility networks, and topographic mapping projects.
  • Operate independently as a one-person crew or work with larger teams.
