Maintaining consistent, high-quality standards is essential to our continued growth and long-term involvement in the energy industry. We are now looking for survey professionals to join our team. The survey rod person's responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Assist in the collection of surveying data needed to complete different types of survey work assignments for pipeline projects Place marks, stakes, pins, and monuments Drive stakes to fix survey points and determine location data to be placed on stakes Measure distances using survey tape and be able to accurately read Carry stakes and other field equipment over long distances and through a variety of terrain Perform maintenance of field equipment and maintain supplies for survey crew Take direction from Party Chief in a safe and efficient manner Physical Qualifications: Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and withstand working outside for up to 8-12 hours in varying temperatures Must possess manual dexterity with the physical ability to work in situations which require bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and lifting/carrying items up to fifty (50) pounds Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Protective eyewear, gloves, mask) and other safety equipment required by the company guidelines and procedures Our teams are comprised of bright and enthusiastic people who wish to make a difference to the world that we live in. Requirements

Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and withstand working outside for up to 8-12 hours in varying temperatures
Must possess manual dexterity with the physical ability to work in situations which require bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and lifting/carrying items up to fifty (50) pounds
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Protective eyewear, gloves, mask) and other safety equipment required by the company guidelines and procedures
Familiarity with commonly used surveying terms and with the use and care of survey tools and other survey field equipment used for measuring, sighting, and leveling
Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
Successful completion of the pre-employment fitness-for-duty physical, background check and drug screen
A valid driver license
Must be willing to travel - project site locations include: Lexington, KY; Cookeville, TN; Wheeling, WV

Nice To Haves

Previous pipeline surveying experience preferred.
Previous Mott MacDonald experience preferred.
