About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Surveying Project Manager / Estimator to lead land surveying and geospatial projects from pre-planning through final delivery. This role combines estimating, field coordination, scheduling oversight, and quality control to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of surveying practices along with leadership and project management capabilities to drive consistent performance across multiple active projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in land surveying, geospatial services, or surveying project management
- Strong estimating, proposal development, and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and field teams simultaneously
- Working knowledge of surveying standards, mapping procedures, and quality control practices
- Professional, client-facing communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit project sites as required
Responsibilities
- Manage land surveying, mapping, and geospatial projects from kickoff through closeout
- Prepare detailed estimates for boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, 3D scanning, and aerial mapping projects
- Coordinate field crews, technicians, and subcontractors to meet project schedules and budgets
- Review field data, drawings, and final deliverables to ensure QA/QC compliance and technical accuracy
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define scope, timelines, and project expectations
- Monitor budgets, track project performance, and manage documentation
- Support proposal development and bid preparation for new opportunities
